All GC-ArtEscape artworks are hand-painted on pure silk. The transparency and luminosity of the silk allow the colours to interact beautifully with light, giving each piece its own unique character.

Craftsmanship and materials
I use a meticulous hand-painting technique on pure silk, employing the Serti method. This involves drawing the design, applying glue to separate areas, painting with special silk paints, and then fixing the colours in a damp environment for three hours. I use pure silk of 5 or 8 momme thickness, special silk paints, and Paleo or Jacquard water-based resist. Each painting is mounted on 1 mm cardboard for easy framing.
Standard dimensions for effortless framing
My paintings are created with standard dimensions to ensure they are easy to frame. I offer a range of sizes to suit your space, including small, medium, A4, large, and extra-large. The exact dimensions for each painting are attached to the product description, allowing you to choose the perfect fit for your home or as a gift.

Artwork is supplied mounted on a rigid backing mat, ready to be placed into a suitable standard frame.
Note that sometimes the frames do not have a common aspect ratio, the border for the matboard may be different between horizontal and vertical, but this is considered to fit the paintings and to enjoy most of the artwork.

Packaging and delivery
Each painting is carefully packaged in a cellophane bag containing the artwork, accompanied by another bag with a detailed description. For larger paintings, I include hard cardboard to prevent folding during transit. All packaged items are then further protected with bubble wrap to ensure your art arrives in pristine condition.
